6-hour pose (with breaks, of course! Classes are only three hours long!) for my painting class.

Her face and hands are so overworked, I'm ashamed. I am rather proud of the folds of cloth at her breast and the drapery on the chair behind her, though. My teacher's suggestion to warm the drapery up with a faint wash of ochre/orange mix was a sound one.

Ahg, my intense love of your watercoloring skills! :faints: All the watercolors you've posted today are jealousy-inducing :D

Those cloth folds are delicious indeed! And--this is going to sound ridiculous--her toes look awesome. And I dont even have a foot-fetish, I swear.x.x

I like the highlights. REALLY GOOD JOB! I have always found highlights to be the hardest with watercolor. Your teacher was right about the ochre/orange mix. The painting gives off a very warm and fuzzy feeling.
